Product Description

Vocabulary: Use auditory processing and visual discrimination skills to identify an animal (in a specific habitat) by it’s sound or picture! What new animal sound or animal names have you learned? Use your new vocabulary to talk about an animal with a friend, or in a small group.

Vocabulary: What am I? | Grades Preschool & Kindergarten

Move the wheel and name the animal. What am I?

• Move the wheel and say the sound the animal makes, without showing the picture. Ask, "What am I?"

Habitats

Jungle

Forest

Ocean

Pond

Farm

Pet

North or South Pole

Insect

• One child turns the wheel and says, “I live in the jungle. What am I?” or “I am an insect. What am I?” (Visual Discrimination) The child with the correct guess, asks the next question.

• Suggestion: All children in the group must have a turn to ‘ask the question’, before a player gets a second turn.

• One child says, ”I live on the farm. I say moo-moo. What am I?” (Auditory Discrimination) The other children in the group identify the animal by it’s sound.
