Vocabulary Word Game - Bubble Words - Create Your Own Board
If you are a lover of word games, you already know how much fun they can be. Now you can share that fun with your students when they play Bubble Words. Bubble Words is like nothing else around because it has been designed by a teacher specifically for groups of students (from upper elementary to high school seniors) who will be playing the game simultaneously. In addition to playing the game, students create Bubble Boards, share them with their classmates, and play the boards created by their classmates. To create a high-quality Bubble Board, students must use vocabulary, spelling, and reasoning skills. Once the boards are created, students can share them with their classmates, and they can search for as many words as they can string together.
With Bubble Words, students achieve two distinct objectives:
HOTS: Students use higher levels of thinking to create their own Bubble Words Boards with appropriate words of varying lengths and difficulty levels.
Students stretch their vocabulary and spelling capabilities by playing Bubble Words games on boards that have been created by their classmates (or by you, if you prefer.)
