Product Description
Teach vocabulary in context. This PowerPoint includes vocabulary words, definitions, and the sentences in which they appear in Jack London's short story, "To Build a Fire." The last slide also includes URL addresses for the story's text as well as information on Jack London and American Naturalism. My students take notes on the PowerPoint and then choose any five words and write sentences using the words correctly. I allow my students to write more sentences for extra credit.
