Display the title "Critical Vocabulary of the Week" with a color or black printable versions. Choose and print the vocabulary of the week, which includes the word, definition and a visual representation. Three rows will print, but cut down for your own class size. Cut between each word for easy tear off. Encourage users to attach or glue / paste the word in notebooks, journals, or on writing assignments.
Words included (and are subject to additions): alliteration, categorize, compare, comprehend, connections, contrast, demonstrate, describe, details, determine, develop, distinguish, draw (inference or conclusion), explain, locate, identify, recognize, recount, suggest, support.
