Divide the class into 3 groups. Each group picks a square in turn and if they find the bomb they get a point. If it is a blue square they miss a turn. I usually use this game to practise vocabularies. I ask each student 3 words and if they know all of them then they can pick a square. If they find the surprise they get 3 points. Sometimes during the lesson they collect their points from different activities and at the end of the lesson we play this game according to the groups' points.
There are 11 different version of the board here because If you play with the same board students remember and memorize where the bombs are. Each time you play choose a different colour.
