Vocalic r Sentences | Speech therapy | Articulation
This set includes:
The coarticulation strategy in this set of sentences will be helpful for students who can say initial R sounds but are struggling with one or more of the vocalic R sounds. Coarticulation uses a sound your student can produce to teach the target sound.
These can be used during therapy sessions or sent home as homework.
I have seen great results with this strategy with my own students.
I laminate my sheets and use them with every one of my /r/ articulation students.
They are great for carryover of new motor patterns.
I also have these coarticulation sentences along with a few additional ones in a set of cards in a game here.
This game is a fun way to practice vocalic R at sentence level. My students love it!

This list of Vocalic R sentences is so engaging with cute pictures that go along with it.
They are a good follow-up to the co-articulation sentences.
