Product Description
Students will differentiate between a “voiced” and “unvoiced” phoneme and apply concept to consonant-sounds (connecting it to phonics).

Students will begin lesson by listening to, identifying, and producing phonemes (individual sounds) in which the voice box is turned "off" (unvoiced- sound produced by exhaling) and phonemes in which the voice box is turned "on" (voiced phonemes).

The lesson then connects the phonemes (sounds) to the graphemes (letters) that represent those consonant sounds, going from a phonemic awareness mini-lesson into a phonics lesson.
