March 6, 1836 was a historic day in Texas. It marked the end of a thirteen day siege at a little church we now call the Alamo. The men who battled that day and lost their lives are the stuff legends are made of.
In this lesson, your students will re-live the last days of some the more historic characters who were at the battle. The speeches in this unit are designed to help improve public speaking skills, develop memorization, and learn about the battle itself.
Drama games are included to help get your students up and moving.
