Volume Control File Folder Activities:
Special Education: Autism, Aspergers
Use file folders to sort manners in one-on-one instruction and independent station or center work. In order for our students to become productive citizens, they must understand how to interact appropriately with others in different social situations. This packet contains 7 different sorting activities focusing on volume control including
☞ Activity 1: Volume and Activities
☞ Activity 2: Volume and Places
☞ Activity 3: Noise Level and Actions
☞ Activity 4: Noise Level and Places
☞ Activity 5: What Are Emergency Noises
☞ Activity 6: More Emergency Noises
☞ Activity 7: Matching Voice Tones
All file folders come with a cover, inside work pages, a back pocket for storing moveable pieces, tab labels, and a general teaching description. I recommend that all are printed in color as they are most likely to hold your students’ attention but, if you wish, set your printer to black & white/grayscale.
Use these for those with disabilities including autism, Asperger’s, emotional disability, attention deficit disorder or attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. Also useful for preschool children and T.E.A.C.C.H. activities for children with special needs. Great for special education teachers, general classroom teachers, speech and language pathologists, social workers, guidance counselors, instructional assistants, therapists, and parents.
