VOLUME MATH MYSTERY VIDEO HOOK

Editable Locations list added to the packet. This way you can change the place names and alter the mystery outcome. There are also two alternative pre-made lists you can use instead. This is a great option if your students have already done this mystery story before and you need to change the mystery answer.

There are 5 clues to crack to solve the mystery:

Clue 1: Volume (Unit Cubes)

Clue 2: Volume (Hidden Unit Cubes)

Clue 3: Apply the volume formula (L X W X H) to cubes and rectangular prisms. (Available in imperial and metric units of measurement).

Clue 4: Different set of questions for more practice to apply the volume formula (L X W X H) to cubes and rectangular prisms. (Available in imperial and metric units of measurement).

Apply the formulas ๐˜ = ๐˜ญ ร— ๐˜ธ ร— ๐˜ฉ and ๐˜ = ๐˜ฃ ร— ๐˜ฉ for rectangular prisms to find volumes of right rectangular prisms with whole-number edge lengths in the context of solving real world and mathematical problems.
Measure volumes by counting unit cubes, using cubic cm, cubic in, cubic ft, and improvised units.
A solid figure which can be packed without gaps or overlaps using ๐˜ฏ unit cubes is said to have a volume of ๐˜ฏ cubic units.
A cube with side length 1 unit, called a โ€œunit cube,โ€ is said to have โ€œone cubic unitโ€ of volume, and can be used to measure volume.
