Product Description
This slide allows students to develop the conceptual understanding of volume and surface area. It's great at the beginning of your unit to ensure that the students can distinguish between the two. They will be given 16 fun phrases such as "crust of a pie" or "apples in an apple pie" and have to determine whether each is an example of volume or surface area. This is interactive because students can take turns dragging the phrase to the correct column. Also, the answers can be checked after all phrases are sorted to see how many are correct!
