This is a volume quiz that deals only with rectangular prisms. Students will need to calculate the volume given all three dimensions in some problems. Other problems the students will need to fugure out what part of the volume has been removed or is still inside of the rectangular prism.
Here is a sample problem:
Abbie’s hot tub has a length of 8 ft., a width of 7 ft., and depth of 3 ft. How much water can fit in the hot tube?
Abbie was filling the hot tub and had to go to the store. She turned the water off so it wouldn’t overflow while she was gone. The hot tub was two-thirds filled. How much water was in the hot tub?
