These stations and activities specifically align with 6th grade standards dealing with finding the surface area of rectangular and triangular prisms and finding the volume of rectangular prisms with cubes or with fractional sides. Mostly they revolve around volume. You can use these as stations or activities in your class in small groups. I use these as stations and have included my stations sheet. The way I use these stations is not requiring students to do all of the stations, but by letting them choose the stations that interest them. There are 5 different stations or activities included: Math Lib, Volume War, Cubic Coloring, Cubic Building, and a book reading sheet. This is also adaptable to include your own stations. This is great for guided math or for activities in the classroom.
