Volume of Composite Figures – Break Out!
Are your students ready to breakout??
Students will determine the volume of six composite figures. The figures consist of rectangular prisms, cylinders, cones and spheres. Once the volumes have been calculated students use the solutions as codes to break out! The Google breakout form is included with this purchase as well as sides of the figure problems. This fun activity includes a calculations worksheet for your students to show their work. I use this activity as part of my 8th-grade volume unit. This activity may be done individually or divided among group members.
