This editable, power point presentation is designed to have some fun with your students. You can use it as a "pre-test" to gauge their current knowledge of the election process or it can be used as an end of unit review.
There are 30 slides of questions picked randomly on the subject of the general elections. The answer key is on each slide following the question. Although the presentation is 64 slides, the questions are multiple choice and it moves quickly and can be completed in one class session.
By way of introduction, here goes! As a citizen, you have the right to vote on National, State and local elections. It’s a simple process and everyone knows what is all about. Right? Well not so fast.
Middle School students think they are “on top of their game” when it comes to their knowledge of the voting process. Are they? What about you? Let’s test your knowledge. After a few “warm up slides” you can show us all what a star you are. Don’t worry no grades are taken, so have some fun!
