Vowel Chart FREEBIE

Vowel Chart FREEBIE
Product Description
This vowel chart is based off of the sign language vowel cues used to help little learners.

For "a", put your hand in the sign language letter for "a" then say "/a/a/apple/" as you pretend to take a bite of the apple.

For "e", put your hand in the sign language letter for "e" then say "/e/e/elephant/" as you pull your hand down from your nose like an elephant's trunk.

For "i", put your hand in the sign language letter for "i" then say "/i/i/itch/" as you itch your cheek with your pinky.

For "o", put your hand in the sign language letter for "o". With your other hand make "tentacles" with your fingers under the letter you have signed. Then say, "/o/o/octopus/" as you wiggle the tentacles and make the "o" float away.

For "u", put your hand in the sign language letter for "u". Move your hand towards the sky as you say "/u/u/umbrella/" to symbolize an umbrella being opened.

I hope you can find a great use for this in your classroom!
