Help your students to practice the difference between vowels and consonants while practicing their sight words. This can
be done as a whole class (overhead, Smart Board,
etc.), in pairs or as a small group.
There are game cards for each sight word, a recording sheet for their sorting, and an answer sheet that can be used by the teacher, individuals, or pairs. It has a cute background too that looks great. Laminate for durability.
You can also practice American Sign Language finger spelling during this activity/center as well. As the students sort the letters of the word, they can finger spell the letters they are writing down or the whole sight word!
