Vowel-Consonant-e (cvce) Lessons and Reading Passages with comprehension questions contains short, easy lessons to teach students and to provide practice reading words with a vowel-consonant-e syllable. Each lesson is designed to take approximately 20 minutes.
In the first lesson two or three vowel-consonant-e (cvce) rhymes or word families are introduced and practiced. Building from sounds to words to sentences, then a practice page to reinforce the sounds and words.
The next lesson reviews the rhymes and words taught in the previous lesson. It also includes a short story read 3 times to build reading fluency and comprehension questions.
