This is a unique, colorful set of posters that display the 5 different vowels, including y and the "bossy e". The first page includes a layout of all of the letters included on the posters. The letters were hand-drawn using techniques I use when teaching my students the vowel sounds. The vowels all fear the "bossy e", because he makes them say their name. On each vowel's poster, there is an example of the bossy e making the vowel say its long vowel sound. I have found that it is beneficial to teach effects of the "bossy e" on the vowels from the very beginning, especially with students in RTII and special education. Another benefit of this resource is that it is in a word document, so you can copy and paste the pictures to make your own clipart!! I just ask that you leave my name on the pages that you use the clipart because it is my original artwork. You won't find these posters anywhere else because they were created by a fellow teacher: me!!!
