The Voyage To The New World Language Pack is a curriculum based resource developed to target receptive and expressive oral language skills. It is intended for use in speech-language therapy, but may also be used in resource rooms or for in-class centers based activities. Language skills targeted include: sequencing events, parts of speech, sentence generation, comparing and contrasting, and multiple meaning words. This packet is intended for use with 3rd-5th grade students. It is aligned to the Common Core State Standards in English Language Arts, as well as the North Carolina Essential Standards for Social Studies.* It supports Social Studies units on European Exploration and Colonization.
