This World History / Global Studies PowerPoint includes the following major topics: Influence of British Traditions - Magna Carta and Parliament, English Bill of Rights, Influence of the Enlightenment - Thomas Paine Common Sense, Declaration of Independence, Constitution, Rousseau, Locke, Montesquieu, and Impact of the American Revolution, etc.
There is a picture timeline of the major events to discuss with students, but are not done in note form (Lexington & Concord, Declaration of Independence, Washington Crossing the Delaware, Battle of Saratoga, Valley Forge, Yorktown, and Treaty of Paris). These are not done in note form due to them not being the focus in my World History curriculum. (Essential Questions are built into the PowerPoint as well.)
Please see my Guided Notes that coincides with this PowerPoint, they are ideal for lower-level students that need visuals: The American Revolution - Scaffold/Guided Notes (Blank and Filled-In)
My powerpoint has title slides for each section of the textbook that corresponds with the notes---you could simply edit those slides to have them match the textbook you use in your class.
