I absolutely love interactive notebooks! Using them means I always have something meaningful for my students to complete or do. Lesson planning becomes much easier! Students have no choice but to become involved in the learning. What did we do without them all these years?
These science interactive pages cover matter (solid, liquids, and gases), the water cycle, and types of clouds. The emphasis of the interactive pages are 3 STATES OF MATTER: solids, liquids, gases, boiling point, water vapor, freezing point, range of liquid temperatures, THE WATER CYCLE: evaporation, condensation, precipitation, runoff, transpiration, infiltration, accumulation, forming of clouds, dust particles for clouds to form, TYPES OF CLOUDS: cumulus, stratus, cirrus, fog, cumulonimbus, nimbostratus, altostratus, altocumulus, low/middle/high clouds, and creating other types of clouds. There are many pages so you are given choices of using some or all of the pages. For example, if you only teach the main 4 parts of the water cycle, there are pages for this. However, if you teach other parts, such as transpiration, there are pages for this too.
I have also included many picture examples of what the interactive pages could look like. Although several of the pictures have answers, these are only to show what the page could look like after it is completed. There are no answer keys to the interactive notebook since students are given an opportunity to write many different, varied answers on the templates. However, this interactive notebook, along with all my other science interactive notebooks, includes many references pages to go along with the interactive notebook.
