Part of the Whole Brain Teaching philosophy is to keep track of your own personal progress in controlling your temper and voice as a teacher as well as keeping track of your student's behavior each week. (See Chapter 4 in "Whole Brain Teaching for Challenging Kids" by Chris Biffle.)
This chart is built for you to be able to easily keep track of your classroom's progress from week to week. There is room to add information for 25 students plus yourself. Each student (and yourself) receives points daily based on the scales provided. Then the daily totals are calculated to receive a weekly score. Categories correlate to those in the book. The ultimate goal is to have as many Leaders by the end of the year as possible with each student making progress from one category to the next highest or higher throughout the year. The teacher goal is to learn to better deal with frustrating situations.
I print these single sided so that I can make notes about specific days on the blank reverse side if there was a particularly difficult or wonderful day. Specific notes about students can also be placed on the reverse to keep a record from week to week.
