PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

The simple activity requires students to research the setting of Sharon Draper's novel WE BEAT THE STREET, then compare it to their own environment. Students will use a credible website (city-data.com) and work to complete a data chart about each city.

This is an excellent pre-reading activity for the novel, and gets students to think critically about how environments affect the people that live there.
