Are you responsible for providing Written Education Plans for the gifted students on your caseload? Whether you're a classroom teacher, Gifted Intervention Specialist, or district coordinator, WEP management can be overwhelming! These three tools have been used in my classroom and have made a major difference in how smoothly the WEP writing, sharing, and filing process has gone!
This resource includes:
- A Google Form to gather parent input for each student's WEP. Questions include learning style preferences, interests outside of school, and any additional social or emotional concerns a parent may have. This will be added to YOUR Google Drive when you make a copy of the form. I included steps of how to distribute it to parents and gather their input!
- A Google Sheet spreadsheet to track areas of identification and where you are in the WEP process for each student.
- WEP 101 parent handout that describes the WEP process as a collaborative effort and explains the steps that will take place. You can add the link to your parent input form to this handout to make the whole process even more streamlined!
