This set of 40 task cards focuses on distinguishing between “when” (time) and “where” (a place) categories. This set uses beautifully illustrated depictions of locations that will most often be familiar to students, as well as representations of time of day, or objects which represent time. The “where” pictures are intended to show a location in isolation. To make it crystal clear for our special needs students, there are no backgrounds included on the “where” pictures.
Your students will match, clip, point to, or say the correct response and it is a wonderful independent work basket filler. My students actually ASK ME if they can do these activities! They’re so proud of what they can each accomplish on their own! (I’m proud of them too!!!)
This independent work basket set contains 40 task cards and 40 response cards (20 “WHEN” and 20 “WHERE”). This set also comes with a label to velcro or tape onto the clear work bin. I use velcro so I can switch tasks frequently for my students to complete independently.

SUGGESTED IEP GOAL:
Given a picture representing a place “where”, or time “when”, STUDENT will choose the correct category in which the picture belongs of “WHERE” or “WHEN”, by matching the response card, verbally stating the response, clipping the response card, or indicate the correct response using a voice-output device, with 80% accuracy, in 4 out of 5 opportunities, by MONTH, YEAR.
