“Bunny, Bunny WHY Are You Brown/Purple/Blue, etc..?" "I’m Purple Because I Ate Grapes”… comes in 3 different book options. It is great for teaching colors/food and answering simple “WHY” questions in complete sentences, focusing on re-stating part of the question to answer the question using the word, “because.” The bunny eats healthy food (fruits and vegetables) and eats ice cream for dessert!
This book is great for teaching students just learning how to answer "Why" questions.
This is also a fun and great book to use with students who are minimally verbal or non-verbal developing their language skills. Students can show their knowledge without needing to verbally produce answers. They can use the interactive pieces to answer the questions or to just match the pictures.
