This is a game I created for my students to use for our math centers. The rules of game play follow those of a modified, traditional UNO™, with a mathematics twist!
The deck includes 84 full-color cards for reviewing the definitions and attributes of polygons. Print on cardstock and laminate for durability.
On his or her turn, a player can put down a card that can be matched to the top face-up card by name, attribute, or definition, OR a card that matches the color on the face-up card. The player should look for the matching polygon first, before looking for a matching color or special card. When laying down a card, the student should say the common attribute number out loud, or the polygon on their card if there is no match.
