This is a game I created for my students to use for our math centers. The rules of game play follow those of a modified, traditional UNO™, with a mathematics twist!
The deck includes 116 cards to help students review the skill of rounding numbers to the nearest 10. Print on cardstock and laminate for durability year after year.
On his or her turn, a player can put down a card that can be rounded to the same number (nearest 10) as the top face-up card, OR a card that matches the color on the face-up card. The player should look for the matching rounded number first, before looking for a matching color or special card. When laying down a card, the student should say the common rounded number out loud, or the number on the card if there is no match.
