This 67 page literacy bundle includes my , "Winter Words" product and "Winter Writing Prompts". It has all you need for a winter writing center including prompts, writing papers, word cards, and picture cards.
Winter Words is so versatile for your writing station or winter word wall! My students love to play a game with these cards they have named; Where is the Snowman? They have to ask me in a whole sentence whether the snowman is behind a particular card. It's works well even with my newest ELL students because of the picture support. I added two snowman find-it cards, two find-it mitten cards, and two find-it snowman cards for this treasure hunt game.
This product has 38 winter words to put in your pocket chart for creative writing activities, word hunts, penmanship, phonics, spelling, etc. This is especially nice to copy and have your ELL children put into a writing folder as well. There is picture support for each word. This could be used for read around the room or matching activities.
I also added eight task cards, each with four items and recording sheets. There is an answer key included. Lastly, I provided created a template for narrative writing. There is also a template for an illustration.
