WONDERS Centers
Are you looking to give your kiddos extra practice with the concepts from the Wonders program? Here are nine centers that correspond with Unit 3 Week 5 of the Wonders program and and a menu to give your students practice in an exciting, engaging way.

There are pages included with how I set my centers up and helpful hints to help you make centers run smoothly.

Included:
-A centers menu for your students to keep track of what they have done and what still need to be completed
-Vocabulary Tic-Tac-Toe-A game to practice telling the definitions of the weekly vocabulary words and telling the vocabulary word that matches a definition
-Sequencing Graphic Organizer-Use with a book of your choice or the leveled readers from the program
-High Frequency Word Color by Code-Students will read the high frequency words for the week numerous times and color a picture based on the word in the space
-Writing Prompt-A prompt that asks the students to research how a food is made and write a report on their findings
-Practicing -ed & -ing-Students read a passage and find the words with -ed & -ing. Some of the words are spelled wrong, so the students must write the word correctly. There are also comprehension questions for the students to answer using this passage
-Expert Editors-Students correct four sentences that include correcting contractions and misspelled high frequency words
-Don't Eat the oo or u Word!-Students will practice reading short oo or u words (There are three cards that are differentiated to meet the needs of your students)
-Stomp it Out Spelling-Students will stomp on the letters of their spelling words while spelling them aloud
