Are you looking to give your kiddos extra practice with the concepts from the Wonders program? Here are twelve centers that correspond with Unit 5 Week 4 of the Wonders program and and a menu to give your students practice in an exciting, engaging way.

There are pages included with how I set my centers up and helpful hints to help you make centers run smoothly.

A centers menu to help keep your students organized.

A vocabulary game that gives your students ample practice using the vocabulary words.

A Problem, Steps to Solve, & Solution Graphic Organizer that can be used with a book of your choice or the leveled readers from the program. The answer key is for the leveled readers from the program.

A High Frequency Word Color by Code gives your student practice reading this week's high frequency words numerous times.

Students will write an opinion piece about the most beautiful sound they've heard.

Students will apply the skills taught throughout the year by adding -er and -est to various words. The students can use a QR code to check their answers and will indicate whether they're correct or incorrect.

Students will use a, an, that, or this to complete sentences in a write the room activity.

An activity where the students correct four sentences that include book titles and misspelled high frequency words

Students will play a game (three differentiated choices included) where they read words with ow and ou.

Students write their spelling words twice. The students write the word first, then write the word a second time using a secret code. Another student will use this code to determine what the spelling word is, and write that word.

Students will read a passage about hearing numerous times, then answer comprehension questions about it.

Students will use vocabulary words and words to do with the weekly theme to write "seven up sentences."

Students are given four QR codes. Each QR code has a recording of a given sound. The students must identify the sound and explain why they believe their answer is correct.
