Product Description
This PPT is the 9th in my World History offerings and the 4th in Unit 3 (600-1450.) It starts out discussing China, picking up where my Unit 2 India and China PPT left off: China reunited after the Han Dynasty. I cover the Tang, Sui and Song Dynasties including the change in government, economy and society. I move onto the Mongol Empire discussing Ghengis Khan and Kublai Khan. Then I move onto Japan and discuss the differences in culture and geography. I discuss the Nara and Heian Eras, the Samurai and Shogunates and Shinto. I then move onto India covering mainly life after the Guptas and the influence of Islam and finally end on Southeast Asia. This part includes Vietnam, Angkor (Cambodia,) Thai (Thailand) and Pagan (Malaysia.) *THIS PPT INCLUDES 2 EPISODES OF WHERE IN TIME IS CARMEN SANDIEGO. The first covers Kublai Khan and the Silk Road, the second Murasaki Shikibu and the culture of the Heian Dynasty in Japan and her writing of the world's first novel.*
