WRITING POINT-OF-VIEW PROMPT Students write about 1 fairy tale character in list
Product Description
This is a writing prompt that will direct your students to write (or tell) a story from the point-of-view of a fairy tale character. They choose one from a bulleted list of four characters. You could add more. I do not provide the actual fairy tales, but they are popular ones that you either have or could easily find. I fancied the page up with a couple of designs. One is a fancy O to begin them with "Once upon a time . . ."
Grade 1, 2, and 3 students could write their final copies right on my lined page. For kindergarteners to do this, they would probably have to dictate their words to an adult or older students who could write down their words. In fact, it might work well as a study-buddy project with older students helping younger students' form a story.
