"As A Tree Sees It" gives students ideas for writing from the point-of-view of a tree. The suggestions in two short paragraphs suggest ways that a tree might think. These provide a helpful story starter for your students' writing. There is a beautiful color drawing that once was a water color. The drawing of the tree shows apples, a bird feeding her babies, another bird bringing a worm, a cat looking up at the birds, and a squirrel scampering down the tree. Lines to write on are provided. This might be a nice resource for a literacy center or for just getting your students to write in general.
