Product Description
A bit of history.
From Feb 23 1943. (postmarked)

A post card home from a new recruit. Written in wax-graphite pencil - its quite readable.

I rather like old postcards. Indeed I have been known to use them as a reason to learn cursive.

A nice addition to any lesson about WW II or for use in a literacy centre.

I am listing other postcards as well as some free ones from World War II. Please check them out.

This is a very high resolution scan (600 dpi) of both back and front. You can see the type of paper used. and even make inferences about where the card was written. ( I think the writer was moving at the time.) The card is clearly franked, with the location and date very readable.
Yes there is a story here.

Feed back would be really nice!!!!
