Description

This is for a WHOLE unit on World War 1. I sell the items individually (see my store to see examples of the assignment and Power Point that you would be purchasing), however, this is a highly discounted price since it is a large bundle.

This has everything you will need to teach WW1 from the start of the war to the end including tests and homework. I have used this with Middle and High school students and it works great for both levels. There is also a typed up Unit Plan for this unit so you can see how I taught the 3 week Unit. This can be adjusted for your needs, but just wanted to show you how I taught the unit. This is based off a 50 minute class periods.

You will get the following items:
Power Point on World War 1
Notes and Guided Notes that go along with the PowerPoint
Homework that matches the Power Point (called the Objective and Vocabulary Sheet)
World War 1 Vocabulary Assignment
Franz Ferdinand Reading and Questions
Before and After Picture Analyzing Assignment
Causes and Technology Assignment
World War 1 Partner Review Assignment
World War 1 Reading and Questions Assignment
World War 1 Weapons and Technology Assignment
Several Graphs and Questions (I use these as warm ups)
Propaganda Poster Assignment
Lesson Test (2 Versions)
World War 1 Jeopardy Power Point
Who's Who and What's What WW1 Assignment
Front Page Newspaper Project
Annotated Mural Project
Self Studies over- OBJ #3- New Technology of WW1
Self Studies over- OBJ #4- America entering the war
Self Studies over- OBJ #6- War is On
Unit Plan

I break the Power Point/Notes into Objective numbers, for example Objective #1 covers Causes of World War1, Objective #2 covers the start of the war, etc. This keeps it manageable for the students and teacher; thus, students know what was learned on each day.

I have used this unit many, many times and have GREAT success with student’s retention of material.
