Product Description
Students analyze and compare and contrast 3 battle accounts from World War 1 (WWI, WW1): the Battle of the Somme, the Battle of Gallipoli, and the Battle of Jutland. There are 16 questions between the 3 accounts for students to answer. The answers are included where appropriate and this would be great for a sub!

Sample questions include:
-How might his experience at war have been different than the Americans who were conscripted and sent overseas in 1917? How might his experiences have been similar?
-Using evidence from the text, are there any benefits to fighting at sea compared to on land?
-Why do you think Britain finally withdrew from the battle?
--Draw a diagram of the set up of the trenches and no man's land. In one sentence explain a danger a soldier faced in no man's land.
--Explain the meaning of "gravity" in this particular context.
