This is a geography companion to study of the causes of World War I. Students will use a provided text to create a map of nine European empires as they existed in 1914. Included in this set is a reading to guide students' work, directions for the activity, and a graphic organizer to set up their maps.
This activity asks students to apply knowledge (Bloom's Taxonomy Level 3) from the reading to the creation their maps.
