In this assignment, students researched a battle from World War II. Their job was to then create a museum exhibit showcasing the most important aspects of their battle. However, this museum does not have enough funding to feature every single battle exhibit so they must compete with each other to not only have the most important battle but also the best exhibit.
On the first day, students researched their battle and planned their exhibit. On the second day, students set up a table to educate others about their battle and persuade them to sign a petition granting funding for their exhibit. This also allowed students to fill in the rest of their chart.
This activity was a lot of fun and was a sneaky way to get students to practice their thesis statements and internalize the information.
This document is fully editable, and I have included a Quizlet I created with the information.
