This is a five lesson unit by Reading Through History. It includes a reading and three pages of activities for each of the following topics. The lessons include:
1) The Zoot Suit Riot
2) The Tuskegee Airmen
3) African Americans on the Homefront
4) Native American Code Talkers
5) The Internment of Japanese Americans
There is enough material here to cover 3-5 days of class, depending on if one or two of the lessons are completed in each period. My students typically complete a lesson in about 25-30 minutes.
