This lesson is a great activity for introduction to a few people or a review, and an opportunity to get students up and moving around. The lesson provides students the opportunity to gather information and use inductive reasoning to match quotes to figures in WWII. There are ten figures included that I typically include on my assessments of the era. This lesson can be very helpful as a refresher and opportunity to avoid stagnation in the classroom. I chose to do this activity in our school courtyard, but the clue sheet on where to find the info can be adapted to inside a classroom or whatever space you would like.
