Propaganda has been used by governments around the world for hundreds of years. During war time this use of propaganda is often heightened, which was very true during WWII. In this lesson students will work together to examine and analyze pieces of propaganda from a variety of nations involved in WWII. They touch on the themes of racism, dehumanization, fear, and national pride, among others. This activity provides students with the framework to analyze these primary sources and teaches them to think critically about things that they are presented with by their government.
