Product Description
This is a five lesson unit by Reading Through History which covers the war in the Pacific. Topics include the Allied strategy of Island Hopping, the battles of Okinawa and Iwo Jima, the Manhattan Project, the dropping of atomic bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki, the sinking of the USS Indianapolis, and V-J Day.

There is enough material here to cover 3-5 days of class, depending on if one or two of the lessons are completed in each period. My students typically complete a lesson in about 25-30 minutes.
