This 5 page packet is a perfect classwork or homework document based assignment following a lecture or other activity on the bombing of Pearl Harbor and the U.S. declaration of war. In this activity students will examine 8 primary source excerpts/charts on the war strategy adopted by the U.S. and Allies during WWII. After students read each excerpt they must answer 3-4 comprehension check questions about the source. After examining all 8 sources, students will be able to answer the following assessment question:
"What was the cause of the United States entry into WWII and what was the war strategy that the U.S. and her Allies adopted?"
