This is an expository journal writing activity that can be used for low level academic content with multiple prompts though out to facilitate proper paragraph development. It is also a silly story prompt, so students can use their creativity to write something very funny. It was created for the Special Education high school & middle school students who need very specific guidance to independently complete writing tasks. It assists with getting students ready for full paragraph responses on the PARCC assessment and corresponds with LAL core curriculum standards for 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12+
It also includes daily grateful topic at the beginning, which is a great practice to have students continue.
