Wags, Words, and Writing is geared to first grade and beginning 2nd grade writers. There are some easier prompts for struggling or younger writers. Addtionally there are some challenging prompts for the more progressed writer.
The second grade writing prompts tie into the 2011 2nd grade Treasures “Pets as Friends” unit.

I've made the following revisions to this product:

I have added six new response sheets for use with the word wall games. “ResponseSheetAddOn.pdf”
For the ABC games I have added new ABC tree cards. There is now a card with the uppercase letter and second card with a lowercase letter.
To track letter recognition I created a new set of ABC letter matching response sheets. Use the "I can match my letters" sheet to help prompt the correct answer.

I also added a blank "8.5 by 11" tree. I printed about 6 of these and laminated them. When I want to do a word sort I write the header on with a dry erase crayon.
