Story Map – Students will list the title, author, illustrator, characters, setting, problem, and solution
Writing (4 versions) – Students will write on the given prompt and illustrate their work.
Venn Diagram – Students will compare Phyllis and Uncle Phil
Sequencing – Students will sequence the events of the story
True or False – Students will read the sentences and decide if it is true or false
Story Problems – Students will solve the story problems
6 More Weeks – Students will predict if the groundhog sees a shadow or does not see a shadow, tally the results, create a graph, and evaluate the results
Winter or Spring – Students will ask friends if they prefer winter or spring, tally the results, create a graph, and evaluate the results
