This is an activity I use a ton in my 8th grade math class with different concepts. Simply print out the posters (laminate if desired) and place around the room. Students can start at any poster, or the teacher can assign a starting point.
For the Adding Integers activity, students simplify the expressions to get to the next poster. I have my students write out each problem and show they work on lined paper to keep track of their methods. When the answer has been found, students find the poster with that answer and go on to solve the new problem. There are a total of twenty practice problems in this set.
