Product Description
On March 14, 2018 there is a National School Walkout planned to happen at 10 a.m. across all time zones. It is intended to last for 17 minutes to honor the lives of the 17 teachers and students whose lives were taken in the school shooting in Parkland, Florida.

Whether or not you and/or your students will be walking out of the classroom, this is an opportunity to challenge your students to WALK UP to other students and spread kindness, compassion, and empathy.

This product has:
*A page for students to list 17 people they can be kind to
*A page for students to write 17 acts of kindness they can complete
*A page of ideas to help students generate ideas, or to use in your classroom.

This product is intended to honor the students and staff at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School. This is in no way suggesting teachers or students do/don't walk out of school during the National School Walkout. This is simply a way to promote kindness and compassion in your classroom regardless of your political stance and/or opinions on the National School Walkout.
